Healthcare for the Homeless in Columbus, Ohio
PrimaryOne Health recognizes the struggles of the homeless community, including the challenge of obtaining access to primary healthcare, mental healthcare and substance abuse counseling. Our Healthcare for the Homeless’ (HCH) program is dedicated to providing access to services that improve the health status of individuals that are homeless, particularly those who have experienced barriers to healthcare.
The Mission of Our Program
At PrimaryOne Health, we aim to prevent and end the vulnerability of homeless individuals in our Central Ohio community. We strive to promote and provide access to quality healthcare services with the goal of minimizing future health risks for this population. Through direct services, advocacy programs and community engagement, our team works hand-in-hand with the homeless in Columbus to help provide a better tomorrow.
