Thank you to all who joined PrimaryOne Health in recognizing those in our community who exemplify our mission of providing access to services that improve the health status of families — including people experiencing financial, social or cultural barriers to healthcare.
We are humbled to celebrate over 20 years of serving the central Ohio community as the longest running Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). With the commitment of community members like yourself, we hope to continue providing quality health services regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. In hosting our 4th Annual Healthcare Justice Awards, revenue generated from this event go toward our Community Charity Fund housed at The Columbus Foundation, in order to pay for medical services for our patients who are unable to pay for the quality healthcare services they need to thrive as a healthy community.
This year, our theme, Together, Through Partnership recognizes that this important work can only be accomplish through partnerships with various programs, service providers, and organizations to address our patients’ social determinants of health to build a healthy community.
We were able to honor two of Columbus’ finest, Dr. Pat Gabbe, Pediatric Researcher at OSU Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital as well as Pastor Brian Hall, Associate Pastor of The Word COGIC, and Outreach Coordinator at PrimaryOne Health. Their unwavering commitment to connecting Central Ohio residents to quality healthcare despite barriers made them both very worthy candidates.
